THE magistrate’s court in Balik Pulau has fixed July 5 for the re-mentioning of the case involving a 30-year-old housewife accused of murdering her two sons.

Prosecuting officer Chief Insp Md Saad Hassan requested the new date, as he has not received the chemist’s report.

In the dock is Rosniza Ibrahim, 30, who is charged with murdering her sons Muhamad Alif Hakimi, six, and Muhamad Alif Hazimi, two, by strangling them with an electric iron cord at their flat in Taman Indah, Lebuh Batu Maung 8, Bayan Lepas, on Feb 18.

Chief Insp Md Saad later told newsmen that Rosniza was fit to stand trial based on the psychiatric report prepared by Hospital Bahagia.
