2007 05: Boy, five, falls to his death

SHAH ALAM: A five-year-old boy fell to his death from the 10th floor of the Public Housing Project in Section 11 here after he sneaked out of his family's flat.
Police said Wahizatul Iman Norhashim had earlier gone shopping with his mother and returned to their flat on the 11th floor.
The child is believed to have been left under the charge of his aunt while his mother went out again after dropping her shopping items at home.
Wahizatul, however, ventured out into the corridor and climbed on a box placed close to railing.
He probably lost his balance and fell.
Wahizatul is believed to have succumbed to head injuries sustained from his fall onto the concrete floor below at 2.30pm yesterday.
He was buried at the Hicom Muslim Cemetery here late yesterday.
